Steven Johnson (Past Speaker)

Steven Johnson is the global Director of Associate Career Development for Amazon. In his role he leads peculiar programs like Amazon Career Choice that provides prepaid tuition for front line Amazon employees to gain education and skills that lead to in-demand jobs, whether they be at Amazon or elsewhere. 

Since joining Amazon in 2013, Steve has led Amazon’s North American Employee Relations function and built Amazon’s Connections program. 

Prior to Amazon, Steve spent 13 years with Coca-Cola leading labor and employee relations within the North American and European bottling organizations. 

Steve is also an attorney, earning a Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University and an MBA from New York Institute of Technology.
