Jan Karel Sindorff (Past Speaker)

Jan Karel started his career in generic HR Management roles. In 2006 he deliberately opted for a career in recruitment and coaching. Jan Karel has gained experience at, amongst others, wonderful organizations such as Mars, Vanderlande Industries, VodafoneZiggo and ASML. 

Currently he leads the global recruitment function at ING. The main focus is on building a future proof recruitment and employer branding solution. Goal is to build relationships with and select the right people that will join forces to deliver on the challenging strategy ING has towards the future.

With a clear vision of his profession he sets of to build a leading and game changing recruitment department that adds real and visible value to the business. Recruitment is, according to him, a profession of the future and a key activity for organizations that want to become and stay successful over a longer period of time. 

As a recruitment professional, Jan Karel will always work towards a model that is able to address all sorts of staffing related questions that need to be handled. A recruitment function that will deliver on current demand and, at the same time, is working on the future organization need. Always trying to reach the right talent. 

Next to his recruitment activities Jan Karel runs a boutique coaching practice. As a coach and as a person he strongly believes in the strength of the individual and he feels it is a gift when people develop themselves, let go of past blockages and embrace life. Coaching is obviously about the coachee and Jan Karel is the facilitator who follows and supervises the coachee's process warmly, sharply and with humor.
